Hublot unveils limited edition women’s watch for international charity

The brand released the Classic Fusion Titanium Diamonds Best Buddies edition as part of the Mother’s Day event.

Hublot has unveiled a limited edition women’s watch for Best Buddies International, a non-profit charity based in America.

The organisation, founded in 1989, sets out to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Hublot has been partnered with Best Buddies for a number of years and says it is excited to continue the partnership both to raise money and awareness for them so that they can further their mission of inclusion.

Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO at Hublot, commented: “I’m grateful that Best Buddies and Hublot have partnered with my organization, the Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement (WAM), to launch a 2019 Limited Edition ladies watch this year.”

The watch launched, the Classic Fusion Titanium Diamonds Best Buddies, features Hublot’s classic 42mm ladies design with a full pave titanium case comprised of 366 diamonds, a blue rubber strap and a matching sunray satin-finished dial.

Additionally, the sapphire exposition case back features the Keith Haring Best Buddies logo.

It is limited to 100 pieces.

Guadalupe continued: “Every 65 seconds, a new brain develops Alzheimer’s in this country, and women and individuals with Down syndrome are at an increased risk for the disease. Proceeds from this special watch will empower WAM to fund critical women-based Alzheimer’s research, which will help us get closer to a cure for all.”

The special launch event was hosted at the 6.3 acre Malibu Estate, La Villa Contenta with views overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Celebrity supporters in attendance included Cindy Crawford, Katherine and Christina Schwarzenegger, John Stamos, Nikki and Brie Bella, Denise Richards, Charlotte McKinney, Jason Lewis and Jae Suh Park.
