Hublot reminds customers of its nautical roots with sponsorship of Geneva sailing event


Hublot has used its platform as the official timekeeper of the 79th Bol d’Or Mirabaud in Switzerland to unveils its limited-edition Classic Fusion Chronograph Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2017.

Hublot is sponsoring the Bol d’Or Mirabaud sailing event for a fifth consecutive year, a spectacular that aligns with the brand’s history.

“This prestigious competition allows Hublot to demonstrate its attachment to its roots in Geneva and its love of sailing. After all, how could it be otherwise with a name like ‘Hublot’, which means ‘porthole’ in French?” the company says.


20 competitors in the race sail from Port Noir in Geneva to Bouveret and back again.

To mark the occasion, Hublot is launching a 79 piece limited edition — the Classic Fusion Chronograph Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2017 — one of which will be given to the winner.
