Hublot releases exclusive chronograph in collaboration with The Rake

Hublot has released a limited edition chronograph in partnership with men’s luxury magazine, The Rake.

The Swiss-based brand has made only 25 pieces of the Aerofusion Chronograph ‘Molon Labe’ available.

Featuring a 45mm open-worked dial with plated and polished 18K yellow gold indices and main hour and seconds hands, the ‘Molon Labe’ in powered by a HUB115 caliber and is water resistant to 50m.

With a 42 hour power reserve, the piece comes with a microblasted titanium dial; an engraved and black-brushed bronze bezel; black composite resin lugs and polished titanium screws.

This announcement follows a trend of collaborations between watchmakers and watch magazines for limited edition watches. Revolution, the publishing company behind The Rake, has been involved in similar ventures in the past.

‘Molon Lobe’ translates as ‘Come and take them’, a phrase which has been engraved in each $14,900 model.

The new release was made available exclusively from therake.com last week.
