Hublot has shown off some of its Baselworld 2019 novelties as part of an exhibition in Hong Kong.

The watches, created in collaboration with the likes of Ferrari, tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi and artist Richard Orlinski, were presented to media and watch enthusiasts at the Kong Art Space.

Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO at Hublot, commented: “Hublot is on fire this year. On one hand, we are honoured to celebrate the 90th anniversary of our partner Ferrari. On the other hand, we take pleasure in working diligently with superb artists including Marc Ferrero, Richard Orlinski and Maxime Plescia-Büchi to show the true colours of ‘Art of Fusion’.”

At the event, guests were immediately shown the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari the three limited-edition Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversaries which were created in celebration of birthday.

Then, the first floor presented the latest creations jointly created by the Swiss watchmaker and renowned artists including Marc Ferrero, Richard Orlinski and Maxime Plescia-Büchi.

The two versions of Big Bang One Click Marc Ferrero, which were unveiled earlier this year, created by Hublot and Marc Ferrero, the artist behind Storytelling Art, were showcased in the exhibition.

Elsewhere, sculpture artist Richard Orlinski sculpted the latest Classic Fusion Orlinski series in his aesthetic signature boosting the collection’s first faceted dial.

On the second floor was a lounge where the guests could see the watches more close-up.

Guadalupe concluded: “The exhibition presents one of the most spectacular collections from Hublot and I cordially invite everyone to experience the brand’s watchmaking world in person.”
