Tristan eaton and hush present the fame vs fortune limited edition

Hublot continues to work with world street artists on limited editions

Hublot’s relentless rollout of new models continued this week with a new Classic Fusion and a Big Bang launched at a Hublot Loves Art event in New York.

The watches have been created in collaboration with street artists Hush and Tristan Eaton; the latest in a line of graffiti specialists lending their creative expertise to the watchmaking process.

Mr Eaton contributed to the design of the Hublot Classic Fusion 45mm Chronograph, which uses brushed bronze and polished gold-plated appliques to represent East Coast “Fortune”. The colour and finish is similar to the Charging Bull sculpture that guards the entrance to Manhattan’s Financial District.

The case back has a medley of Wall Street motifs including an image of the bull, money sign, and Wall Street sign.

The watch, which is limited to just 50 pieces, houses a Caliber Hublot HUB1143, self-winding chronograph movement giving it a 42 hour power reserve.

Mr Hush helped design a skeletonised Spirit Of Big Bang. The 42mm piece has a 50 hour power reserve thanks to the HUB4700, self-winding Chronograph movement.

It has a black-and-white woman’s portrait splashed across the case back in a multi-coloured collage of mixed media. The timepiece features a skeletonised dial contrasting with a white ceramic bezel.
