Hublot is combining its expertise in advanced watchmaking and fine jewelry for three diamond-encrusted versions of its Big Bang Unico, Spirit of Big Bang and Classic Fusion.
“Setting the stones on a watch is a feat of technical and aesthetic excellence, carefully conceived and determined in advance,” says Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe.
“The discipline is both a science of absolute precision and an art form, the aim of which is to maximize the brilliance of the stones within the limits of an extremely confined space. Overcoming such tough challenges and coupling tradition with innovation are the driving forces of our ambition,” he adds.
Big Bang Unico High Jewelry is a white gold version of the watch set with 334 baguette-cut diamonds, a total of 12.5 carats, across its 42mm case, dial and the clasp of its alligator strap.
Inside beats Hublot’s latest HUB1280 flyback chronograph movement.
The white gold high jewelry Spirit of Big Bang has room for even more bling, in this instance 346 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 13.1 carats across its barrel shaped case, dial and the buckle for its leather and rubber strap.
It uses Hublot’s Caliber HUB4700 automatic chronograph movement.
The trio of watches is completed with a Classic Fusion High Jewelry with 427 baguette-cut diamonds weighing 20.8 carats.
Its 18ct white gold case has 391 diamonds while its three-handed dial is entirely paved in the gems.
It is worn on a leather and rubber strap with a diamond-studded buckle.
None of the watches is advertised as a limited edition, but production will be incredibly low because of the work that goes into each piece.
All three watches are priced at $369,000.
