Swiss watch brand Hublot joined long-term partner Ferrari in toasting the end of a successful season of racing by attending the car company’s annual celebratory event.
The annual Ferrari event, the Finali Mondiali, which marks the end of the Grand Touring racing season, includes exhibitions of modern and historic models, a chance to experience a lap in a racing car and driver meet-and-greets.
As a long-term partner of Ferrari, the watch brand had a high profile presence at the event.
A Hublot area, complete with pop-up store, was installed above the paddocks to welcome friends and clients in comfort and to enable them to discover the Nyon-based manufacturer’s products, in particular the Techframe Ferrari Tourbillon Chronograph.
The timepiece, which was unveiled in March at the Baselworld trade fair, celebrates Ferrari’s 70th anniversary.
Flavio Manzoni, who runs the Ferrari Design Centre, was in attendance to explain the inspiration behind the piece.
Hublot’s brand colours were visible on the circuit itself and the safety car, which featured in the many races held over the four-day event.
“The atmosphere at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali is electric. The excitement of the brand’s fans is tangible, and the drivers are full of the end-of-season spirit,” said Hublot CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe.
“The festivities have been all the more animated this anniversary year! We’ve been delighted to share in the celebrations, with our Hublot Techframe watch and our various on-site activities.”
