The cast of The Expendables 3 have walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival sporting de Grisogono Instrumento N° Uno timepieces that have been specially designed to complement the movie.
The Instrumento N° Uno is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and de Grisogono has employed the pulling power of Hollywood royalty to promote the limited edition timepiece.
Each actor in the Expendables 3 cast is wearing the watch in Cannes, attracting the sort of press attention that can only be generated with a photo call that includes Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz, Glen Powell, Kelsey Grammer and Patrick Hughes.
The new Instrumento N° Uno features a steel case with a black PVD finish. It is fitted with a self-winding mechanical movement, dual time-zone and a large date display.
The black guilloched dial contrasts with the bright red hands and Arabic numerals. The hand-stitched black alligator skin strap is lined with red leather and inscribed with the watchmaker’s brand name on the inside. This anniversary edition, autographed "Fawaz’" on the sapphire crystal case back, is limited to 100 watches.
