We all know media types think the entire world uses Apple technology to run every aspect of their lives, which might explain why Hodinkee launched its app for iOS (the iPhone operating system) five years ago, but did not have an Android version.
That oversight has finally been put right, with the news this week that the retailer and publisher has ported its app to by far the world’s most widely-used platform.
“We are bringing the full Hodinkee experience to the Android platform,” the New York-based platform told its subscribers last night.
The app allows users to read Hodinkee articles, watch its videos and shop at its ecommerce store.
