Farer stark

HIGHLY COMMENDED: Trendsetting Watches of the Year, Farer Stark

New kid on the British block Farer has only just launched onto the scene with a handful of models and bags of confidence.

We were keen to include Farer in this category because of the quartz brand’s unusually colourful, vintage-inspired signature look.

Some, such as the Carter GMT, go the full hog with four hands in three different colours whilst others, including this Stark, benefit from a simpler, more stylish approach.

Both work in their own way and both will have their own fans, but what is most impressive is the level of variety that Farer has introduced using just one case shape whilst changing out dials and hands. The brand’s vintage credentials are also supported by the ‘authentic’ complications it uses, good old-fashioned favourites such as small seconds and a GMT hand.

We’re still not sure on that bronze crown though.
