If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Daniel Wellington’s domination of the phenomenally successful Scandinavian design trend in the UK watch market shows no sign of slowing down, so its Classic Black launch this year understandably represents an evolution, not a revolution.
You won’t find complications or clutter on this watch, but instead just an exquisite black dial that’s an extension of the flagship Classic collection.
“Classic Black emphasises all the timeless and elegant characteristics that our community has come to expect from us, and we’re excited to introduce an instantly recognisable and eye-catching extension to our Classic collection”, said Olof Nordström, head of design at Daniel Wellington.
As with all Daniel Wellington lines, the collection comes with a variety of strap options.
We think the black NATO strap on the Cornwall model (pictured) does justice to the watch as well as any.
