British watch company Zeon has been making Vivienne Westwood timepieces under license since 2012, and the partnership is getting better every year.
Ms Westwood always fought for the forgotten, which made her eye-wateringly expensive catwalk fashion label somewhat counter-intuitive.
That charge can’t be levelled at the more accessible Orb Watch collection, which retails for around £175 (or £235 with a silver and gold coloured steel bracelet).
References to Vivienne Westwood’s designs are seen in the leather watch straps, which have a hatched design with a hint towards tartan, and the orb that hangs from the round watch face, which is seen throughout the designer’s collections including her jewellery lines.
The watches contain Swiss-made movements within their 30mm stainless steel cases.
Subtle colour changes give customers choice across a modest range of styles that include versions with blue and cream straps.
