Harry Winston’s prestige jewellery and high end watchmaking skills combine in its Avenue Classic Moon Phase.
It uses two colours of hand painted blue mother of pearl segments in its rectangle dial that create the look of sunbeams radiating from the centre.
A second model uses hues of brown on the dial to complement a warm gold case.
A spray of brilliant-cut diamonds emanates in all directions from the bright diamond star that surrounds the 18-karat gold Harry Winston logo, with some framed by a gold pear-shaped silhouette to accentuate the motif.
The moon phase complication is located in an aperture at 6 o’clock and shows the moon journeying against a night sky illuminated with stars.
The moon phase at 6 o’clock is also illuminated with 15 brilliant cut diamonds.
It is the 20th anniversary of the Avenue watch, named after 5th Avenue in New York City and designed to work with Manhattan’s famous Art Deco architecture.
The case, which is contoured to fit the wrist, is adorned with 28 brilliant-cut diamonds and a truncated diamond on the crown.
