Hamilton has been producing timekeepers for the military for most of its 128 year history including battlefield watches for American troops during both World Wars.
Modern day watches in the Hamilton Khaki Field family take inspiration from some of those early field watches, and hone them into precision pieces using today’s manufacturing techniques, materials and technology.
For 2020, Hamilton has created a military-styled Khaki Field Automatic in titanium, making it lighter, but just as strong as previous models.
There are two 42mm titanium versions of the watch, one with a black PVD case and a black face with beige numerals and hands; the other in soft brushed titanium case and bezel framing a silver dial with pale green supernova hands and markers.
Both are worn on a soft leather retro strap and use the H-10 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve.
The black PVD model costs $995 while without PVD it retails for $945.
