Hamilton has launched its Intra-Matic watch, a 1960s-inspired timepiece, based on a model launched fifty years ago with a Buren micro-rotor automatic movement.
Today’s timepiece takes the style and slender dimensions of the original watch, measuring 7mm in height (without its sapphire glass), but with an updated high-performance 2892-2 automatic movement.
The watch is also available in two case sizes – 38mm and 42mm – and has a black or silver coloured dial and a simple, minimal design with date.
True to its roots, the watch also bears the 1960s brand’s logo. The case is available in a choice of stainless steel case or yellow PVD, which the brand says gives the wearer a “desired degree of history”.
