Haigh & Hastings sees initial results from GB&RS collaboration

Australian watch brand Haigh & Hastings and British watch distributor GB&RS have announced the first fruits of their collaboration.

Aptly named retailer Emson Haig will be stocking Haigh & Hastings in Loughton in the UK, while Perth-based David Murphy Jewellers will be taking on GB&RS brand Minister 1949.

GB&RS CEO Giles Bushby was delighted at the announcement: “This is a striking example of how innovation in our industry can pay dividends. We are delighted to see Minster1949 in international distribution, capitalising on the prestige of British made throughout the world.”

Meanwhile Haigh & Hastings owner, Simon Haigh, had this to say: “We are thoroughly delighted that Giles has started to secure such premier distribution in the UK. Emson Haig is a premium door and we are proud to have been listed there. Giles will be showing Haigh & Hastings at the CMJ show in Birmingham soon and we are anticipating further distribution in the near future.”

Additionally, Bushby announced that Emson Haig will also be stocking Minster1949 in Lakeside.

  1. ‘while Perth-based David Murphy Jewellers will be taking on GB&RS brand Minister 1949’.

I take it that this will be Perth in Western Australia as distinct from Perth in the United Kingdom [Scotland]?
