H S Walsh to demonstrate equipment at LWS

H S Walsh will make the most of the resurgence of interest in mechanical watches at the London Watch Show and will demonstrate specialist timing equipment.

The watch material and watchmaker tool supplier, which has been in business since 1947 and boasts horology as its core focus, is exhibiting at the inaugural London Watch Show, which is taking place on July 2 and 3 at Freemason’s Hall in London.

Director Patrick Sheehan said that although fashionable quartz watches continue to be popular, there has recently been a growth in consumer interest in mechanical watches.

He commented: "Watches are fashionable as well as functional and while many are now quartz there has been resurgence in interest for mechanical pieces.

"We are therefore delighted to be involved in this Watch exhibition where we can demonstrate innovative equipment and Witschi technicians will be on hand to show how life can be a little bit easier for every watchmaker. There will be specialist timing equipment, watch testing machines and information about the latest trends in the industry."

He added: "We have branches in the jewellery quarters of Birmingham and London and our Head Office is located in Biggin Hill Kent. Visitors are always very welcome and all our staff are happy to offer advice without obligation. We look forward to meeting you at this exciting new show."
