H. Moser & Cie. has been focusing on its core Endeavour collection this year, and experimenting with signature fumé dials.
Just ahead of next week’s Watches & Wonders in Geneva, the brand has unveiled a fruity new reference with a dial that transforms from dark green to lime green at the centre.
The Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Lime Green 3-hander comes in a 40mm steel case.
“What H. Moser & Cie. achieves here has become its signature: revisiting a traditional art form and modernising it, to bring it into line with contemporary tastes and ensure it is not lost,” the company describes.
Each dial is unique because of the way they are handmade using a dippled gold base onto which three different colour pigments are washed, finely crushed, then applied to create an ombré effect.
The colours oxidise and meld together when heated in the furnace to create the fume effect.
Moser loves the finish so much, it does not even put its own logo or indices on the dial.
The watch uses the HMC 200 automatic calibre, which has a 3 day power reserve.
H. Moser’s Endeavour Centre Seconds Concept Lime Green retails for $27,600.
