H. Moser chimes in the new year with minute repeater and tourbillon watch

H. Moser says it is returning to basics with its first timepiece of 2021 which, paradoxically, is also its most complex to date.

The Endeavour Concept Minute Repeater Tourbillon, the company says, combines one of the most traditional watch complications with the comparatively modern flying tourbillon.

H. Moser has also introduced a fresh dial color, electric blue, and presented the watch without a logo or indices on the face.

H. Moser worked with Timeless SA, a specialist in minute repeaters, to create a new architecture and design for the complication, which has its chimes that circle the dial and two hammers exposed at 10 o’clock.

The titanium case housing the hand wound HMC 903 movement is wider than usual at 43mm to allow more space to create a soundbox that amplifies the chiming of hours, quarter-hours and minutes.

A one-minute flying tourbillon appears to float at 6 o’clock on the blue dial.

Production is limited to 20 pieces, which go on sale for CHF 330,000.
