Do mice like to be thought of as rats? Let’s hope so because Gucci is marking the Chinese Year of the Rat, which kicks off on January 25, with a special edition of its Grip watch with Mickey Mouse on the face.
“In honour of the upcoming Chinese zodiac year of the rat, Gucci has created two new Grip watches showing Mickey Mouse on the dial,” the company states.
There are two models. One, a 35mm piece in yellow gold PVD coating with a GG Supreme canvas strap that retails for £1,250.
The hour indicator disk has been coloured red and the minutes are in yellow.
The other is a 38mm steel model with steel bracelet engraved with the GG logo, priced at £1,320.
