International fashion brand Gucci is expanding its watch portfolio with two surprising new offerings.
Gucci’s 2017 was one of the most talked about brands at Baselworld when it unveiled Gucci Dive, featuring a tiger motif.
On the back of this reaction, the brand has continued to explore tigers with its new Le Marché des Merveilles Secret watches.
Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry has released four new editions of the Secret watch. The timepieces, rom Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, featuretiger heads which slide to one side to reveal the dial.
The latest 32mm versions of the Secret watch are available in a red or yellow resin case with a green-red-green web nylon strap or a rainbow web nylon strap.
Gucci is also introducing the Constance watch collection this season. The collection is made up of of five timepieces that pay homage to Constance Chatterley, the heroine from the novel ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ by D. H. Lawrence.
Their padlock design is crafted in coloured Plexiglas and features a rotating system. Its gold-tone shackle can be attached to specially designed leather straps, or to other jewellery pieces, bags or belts.
The pieces come in three different sizes and encompass a variety of tones, materials, and styles. The large version, which measures 40 x 45mm, features a green-red-green case and white mother of pearl dial.
The medium-sized model, measuring 35 x 40mm, is accompanied by an adjustable brown leather cuff strap with intricate beetle decorations showing impressive attention to detail.
The same green-red-green pattern adorns the smaller version, measuring 30 x 34mm, which is also available in two further colour combinations: a rainbow Plexiglas case, offset by a black leather strap and white mother of pearl dial, and a grey-black-grey case.
