Goodyear has linked its global motorsport cooperation with the launch of an exclusive watch collection, together with the French watch brand BRM Chronographes.
Goodyear sponsors the Algarve Pro Racing Team of the Asian Le Mans Series, on whose racing cars the Goodyear and BRM logos are placed in an eye-catching manner.
The design of the watch collection is inspired by the Goodyears retro paintwork and the pulsating racing environment.
“We are delighted to combine Goodyear’s rich racing history and the ingenuity of BRM designers to create these world-class timepieces,” said Christian Jurado, Goodyear’s global director, Licensed Products.
Motorsport enthusiasts can choose from an automatic model, an automatic chronograph and a table clock with a quartz movement. All three can be seen at first glance as their source of inspiration. The design gives the realistic impression of looking at the cockpit of a racing car.
PVD-coated stainless steel cases are combined with white dials with striking totalizers in black or individual digits in black circles. The rapid design is underlined by the hole pointers and hole bracelets.
An ETA Valjoux 7753 ticks in the chronograph, an ETA 2824 in the automatic model, and the table clock gets its precision from an ETA 955-102.
The RRP is €1,550 for the table clock, €7,500 for the chronograph and €4,300 for the automatic model.
