Glashütte Original has hosted a reception to honour veteran film director Ken Loach’s lifetime achievement award at the Berlin Film Festive.
Loach, 77, who founded the ‘kitchen sink realism’ genre, was presented with an Honorary Golden Bear at the Berlinale 2014. He was the guest of honour at the Glashütte Original Lounge following a screening of his 1993 film Raining Stones.
The German watch brand sponsored the Retrospective section of the Berlinale that saw ten of Loach’s films screened over the course of the film festival.
