You do not need to know what the initials EPHJ-EPMT-SMT stand for. What you do need to know is that they spell out the name of an event that is the world’s largest exhibition for innovations in the watchmaking industry, and runs alongside sister shows covering jewellery manufacturing, micro-technology advances and medical technology innovations.
Visitors to the watchmaking zone of the exhibition will see the latest hardware and software applications that will shape the future of the watch industry’s design and manufacturing sector.
The fair takes place from 18 to 21 June in Geneva, and expects 20,000 manufacturing professionals from around the world to visit more than 800 exhibitors
Diverse disciplines such as medtech and watchmaking may appear to have little in common, but EPHJ-EPMT-SMT proves otherwise as experts from across the fields come together and share ideas that could transform the future of both industries.
Last year the organiser of the exhibition created the world’s first Watch Medtech Innovation Challenge to accelerate this meeting of minds and will announce its winner at this year’s event and invite entries for the next challenge.
