EPHJ attracted 20,000 visitors to Geneva.

Geneva hosts world exhibition and conference the upstream watchmaking industry

Swiss watchmakers grab headlines at this time of year with their 2017 collections launching at SIHH and Baselworld, but upstream from the glamour of the watch brands is the industry that provides the technology and precision instruments that make the creation of the world’s finest watches possible.

It is this upstream industry that gathers every year in Geneva at Salon EPHJ to discuss the latest developments in the machinery, software and other tech that is used to manufacture precision timepieces.

This year’s EPHJ takes place from June 20-23 at Geneva Palexpo

Everything required to manufacture finished timepieces or jewellery is on show at the exhibition including:

  • Training, creation, design, CAD
  • Raw materials, components
  • Machines, tools, control devices
  • Microtechnologies
  • Packaging, commercial display
  • Management, marketing, communication, consulting, services, etc.

Last year’s exhibition attracted 20,000 visitors over four days including watch manufacturers, component and movement suppliers and government officials promoting the continuing world leadership of Swiss watchmakers.
