Gc auction off art for wildlife conservation

Gc held a charity art auction at Basel to raise money for a wildlife conservation programme.

The watch brand has been working with UK wildlife artist Stella Mays and incorporating some of her animal print designs into its 2014 Animal Dream collection.

250 of Mays’ numbered, limited and signed prints served as raffle tickets with the main prize being a commissioned piece called African Drama, depicted a leopard on the savannah in front of a herd of wildebeests.

The proceeds of the auction went to the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF), a non-profit charity supported by artists, including Mays, for the conservation of wildlife around the world.
