G-Shock’s 30th anniversary pop-up shop is set to land in Manchester Selfridges, opening on February 28.
The store, in Manchester’s Exchange Square, will host the interactive pop-up space until April. G-Shock has so far run its anniversary pop-up campaign in Selfdriges stores in London and Birmingham. The brand has dubbed both events a success.
The integrated and experiential pop-up give shoppers a chance to "collaborate with the brand to create a constantly changing installation" through having their photo taken alongside a sculpture of a giant red G-Shock 30th anniversary timepiece, made using spray paint cans.
The photo system allows shoppers to pose for photos which are then automatically uploaded to G-Shock’s Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as the G-Shock website.
All of the photographs will be entered into a prize draw for a winner to pick G-Shock of their choice worth up to £150, from the range stocked at the Manchester Selfridges.
The space will be situated in the men’s department on the ground floor of the store.
