G-Shock has concealed two of its most popular models in a camouflage finish for limited editions that go on sale today, and attached four-figure price tags to both.
Both the GMWB5000 Full Metal and the MT-G sees have been given the treatment.
The GMWB5000 Full Metal’s case, band, bezel, case back and buttons are created out of lightweight titanium, resulting in a timepiece that weighs 57g lighter than its steel predecessor making it more comfortable to wear.
Both limited editions have Bluetooth connectivity to G-Shock’s app, two-way time sync technology, and multi-band 6 self-adjusting atomic timekeeping to ensure the most accurate hour and date display no matter where you are in the world.
They are solar-powered and water resistant to 200 meters plus carry a phone finder feature.
Rising prices for G-Shock limited editions has been a remarkable story over the past year, and producing a GMW-formed watch in titanium continues the trend. The GMWB5000 Full Metal is listed for a remarkable £1,480 while the MT-G, which is always a premium model for G-Shock, is selling for £1,200 in its camouflage form.
Dear Rob,
Nice article, but you mixed up the 2 models in your descripition.
The MT-G is made out of stainless steel and the GMW-B5000TCM is made out of full titanium.
Thank you! I have corrected my mistake.
