G-Shock Gulfmaster is all at sea

Casio G-Shock has launched a tough new tool watch designed to help its wearer tackle the high seas.

Positioned as part of the G-Shock Premium collection, the Gulfmaster GWN-1000 features a digital compass, tide graph and an atmospheric pressure sensor, to help predict changes in the weather.

While current atmospheric pressure is displayed digitally, pressure changes are displayed using the second hand and high visibility indications on the bezel. Sudden changes are indicated by an audible alarm.

A tide graph for numerous preset locations is also loaded into the Gulfmaster, allowing the wearer to predict sea conditions at a destination when the time comes to weigh anchor. The watch enables Smart Access of its myriad features via various movements of the crown. A single button is used to call up sensor measurements with a variety of sounds used to indicate which sensor is operational.

The G-Shock is water resistant to 200m and features two separate LED lights for illuminating the dial and LCD display.

The G-SHOCK Premium GWN-1000B-1BER will be available from September at Fraser Hart and Goldsmiths and will retail for £475.
