G-SHOCK is known for delighting its collectors and fans with limited edition watches in collaboration with iconic brands and nostalgic throwbacks and 2022 looks certain to continue the success story thanks to a new version of the GA-2100 with styling from 1970s playground sensation, the Rubik’s Cube.

It is the first time a GA-2100, G-SHOCK’s newest format, has been used for a collaboration piece.

The Rubik’s Cube watch, snappily named by G-SHOCK as the GAE-2100RC-1AER, has all the Japanese watchmaker’s latest innovations including carbon core guard technology in a slimmer, more refined case with an octagonal bezel.

Rubik’s Cube was invented in 1974 by Ernő Rubik and became one of the best-selling toys in history with more than 450 million sold to date.

The watch comes in a 48.5mm x 45.4mm x 11.8mm case that is shock resistant and waterproof to 200 metres.

It can be worn two ways: with or without a white bumper covering the black case.

It has a batter life of 3 years for the digital module showing time, calendar, world time, countdown timer, date, weekday and stopwatch.

It will be on sale from February 9 exclusively from G-SHOCK stores and its website for £139.
