In releasing the MRG-B2000BS-3A Hana-Basara model, G-Shock has embodies the spirit of the samurai.
Inspired by the armour of Basari samurai commanders, G-Shock originally commissioned the making of an actual, one-of-a-kind MR-G suit of armour.
Following this process though, the design team then was set on creating a watch by using the armour as the design motif.
The timepiece also features a DAT55G case with Brown AIP (arc ion plating) and an engraved plate to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the MR-G series.
Coming soon to www.g-shock.co.uk and priced at £6,729, it will be made to a limited run of 400 pieces globally.
G-Shock went on to confirm that shipping will begin this month.
