Fresh watch brand intake at CMJ spring meet

The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) buying group has welcomed 33 new suppliers at its spring buyers meeting, including a number of watch brands showing for the very first time.

The show, which opened yesterday at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham, has welcomed watch suppliers Dreyfuss & Co., Storm, Maurice Lacroix, Fendi and Ball & Co. as supplier members.

Brands including Frederique Constant, Guess watches and Jewellery, Gc Watches, Rotary and Accurist have also made a return to the show, after several years’ absence.

In a survey of CMJ members in the run-up to the event, 90.9% told the buying group that they were quite confident about outlook for business in 2013 and 9.1% said very confident. 65.9% of the CMJ members said they plan to definitely place orders at the show.
