Frédérique Constant’s ladies’ lunch supports BHF

Frédérique Constant held a ladies-only lunch to help raise awareness of heart disease.

Mosimann’s London was the venue for the lunch, which was organised as part of Frédérique Constant’s lunch, in aid of the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

The ladies’ lunch, which took place on June 19, was intended to help raise awareness of women and children’s heart health and to highlight the watch brand’s global partnership with the World Heart Federation (WHF).

The WHF is a community of more than 200 member organisations fighting against cardiovascular disease (CVD). Frédérique Constant has supported heart related charities since 2009 and is now working with the WHF to support heart charities around the world.

Frédérique Constant COO and founder Aletta Stas hosted the lunch and was joined by Spanish model and actress, Inès Sastre and British model and presenter, Jade Parfitt.

This year, one hundred watches will be created and donated to the WHF members organisations to support their actions aimed at preventing this diseases in women and children around the world.

Stas commented: “We’re delighted to have held this lunch in aid of the BHF today. It is such a worthwhile cause as it is so vital that women protect and look after their hearts.

“Coronary heart disease is the single biggest killer of women in the UK. It kills three times more women than breast cancer. If we’ve inspired just a handful of women to start thinking and talking openly about their heart health today I’ll be thrilled.”
Money raised will help fund essential research.
