Distributor Argento Fine Products has chalked 2013 up as "another strong year" for its brand Frederique Constant in the UK market.
Argento said that the successes of the brand were achieved in spite of what it described as "adverse conditions" in the market.
Over the course of the year, Argento said that Laings of Glasgow was once again the Frederique Constant’s top selling retailer outside of London.
Within London, Argento has agreed with department store Harrods to double the floorspace dedicated to the brand in a bid to double turnover. It also plans to increase the average selling point for the brand within the store by introducing more of Frederique Constant’s high-end watches fitted with more complications.
The distributor did not give any figures to support the positive trading statement.
