Frédérique Constant overhauls ‘cumbersome’ sales system

Swiss watchmaker Frédérique Constant is equipping its reps and distributors with the tools to bag more sales after pressing the ‘go’ button on the implementation of a new mobile sales platform.

The Geneva-based outfit plans to roll out the Pepperi software across its international operations after its successful initial deployment in the US and Germany. Overseas distributors have been introduced to the technology at Baselworld this week.

Pepperi claims that users can increase sales by more than 20% and cut order processing costs by 30% from implementing the system.

Francisco Manzano, head of digital for Frederique Constant, said the software is a major upgrade on the previous sales systems it used.

“After years of utilising an internally-developed sales system which was cumbersome to use, we began our search for a commercial sales platform that was user-friendly and had proven success in the watch and jewellery market,” he explained.

“With our 150 international distributors, 3,000 retailers and 50 sales reps, Pepperi offered us an enterprise-grade, omni-channel sales platform with unmatched flexibility, enabling us to streamline our sales processes.”

After an intensive review process of more than 10 mobile sales platforms, the brand selected Pepperi for its breadth of functionality, configurability, security and ease-of-use. The software is also currently used by more than 100 watch and jewellery customers.
