Niels Eggerding has been promoted to the role of managing director at Frederique Constant Group.
He has been with the company since 2012, most recently as commercial director for Frederique Constant and Alpina.
The UK market has been a focus and a point of growth for Frederique Constant since it was taken over by Citizen Watch Company in 2016.
Frederique Constant’s founder, Peter Stas, told WatchPro last year that he expects the UK to be a high growth market, and goes on to reveal that the UK has six or seven times the turnover of other European countries such as France.
Mr Stas said he felt the UK was in need of attention. “I would not say Fredereique Constant has been under-performing [in the UK], but I would say it has been under-represented.”
