Fraser Hart to overhaul stock management system

Fraser Hart is planning to overhaul its stock management software at 37 stores to link the till points to real-time sales data.

The high street watch retailer, owned by the Anthony Nicholas Group, has introduced new software at 65 Fraser Hart till points in the UK following a successful trial of the systems at 14 of the group’s Fields stores in Ireland.

The new systems have been created by software company Pursuit and will link the tills to its stock control, back-office purchasing, supplier product information and management reporting modules, giving instant information on stock levels and the most recent transactions. The software will also incorporate a live feed to centrally held accounts ledgers.

Pursuit managing director Mike Burns said: “The core system readily accommodates unique, evolving and expanding needs. It meets today’s requirements, and it has the capacity necessary to meet whatever demands may emerge in the future.”
