In welcoming guests to its 29th annual WPHH, Franck Muller unveiled two new buildings at its ‘Watchland’ in Geneva in a move to centralize its watchmaking activities.
The 2,500 guests at last weekend event were treated to a first look at the buildings which Franck Muller hopes can help integrate all the various stages of the making of a watch, including conception, watchmaking, assembling, case manufacturing, engraving and after sales into one location.
The buildings, which cover over 16,000 square meters of floor space will enable the 450 craftsman and employees to work onsite.
In addition to the new buildings, Franck Muller also used the occasion to unveil several of its 2019 collections, including the Vanguard Crazy Hours, Vanguard Lady Skeleton, Vanguard Racing, Vanguard Yachting Anchor Skeleton and Skafander.
It particularly focused on its new Remember lines which was a fresh release for 2019.
It features a counter-clockwise direction and is powered by a mechanical self-winding movement offering a 42-hour power reserve.
At a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the new timepiece will be available in rose gold, white gold or steel.
