Hybrids tend to be chunky as they house a traditional movement along with the digital and connectivity technology, but that hasn’t stopped Martian creating a more feminine timepiece with its Electra E10.
The timepiece, from Martian’s Active line of smartwatches, is compatible with both Android and Apple devices, and like the Guess Connect, which uses Martian technology, it has a microphone and speaker for voice commands.
Although only a small digital display is used on the watch face, it is a window into many smart features including notifications from social, news, fitness, sports and other apps.
A vibration function can be customised so that unique buzzes mean different things.
The inbuilt speaker means you can place or accept a call from your wrist or issue voice commands. There is even a shutter control on the watch that will fire off the camera on a smartphone.
The Martian Electra E10 retails for £279.
