The first UK Bering Time Watch & Jewellery Boutique will start trading next week in York.
The boutique will be owned and run by the team at Time Out Watches in York, which was previously situated in the same building that has been newly renovated into the first UK Bering boutique.
The boutique has been in the planning since the Spring Fair back in February and Bering UK director Henrik Leth Møller said it is intended to show the full Bering programme. Møller said that the boutique, which is being kitted out complete with Bering product and furniture, will also be used as a showroom and staff and retail training centre for the brand. He added that the venue will be ideal for representing the brand to retailers who are interested in finding out more about Bering.
Møller said that the collaboration with Time Out and the choice of York as a location are ideal because York is as a key tourist centre and the city has a history as the Viking capital, which forges further links with the Danish brand.
"We won’t rule out opening more UK boutiques but there are no plans at the moment," said Møller."This is a very important step for the brand."
