Festina has expanded its cycling affiliation by sponsoring the Wiggle Dragon Ride, Wiggle Etape Cyrmu and Wiggle Mountain Mayhem.
The Swiss company, which has a 40 year relationship with the cycling world through its sponsorship of the Tour de France, Tour of Britain, Vuelta and Giro D’Italia, has announced its expansion into grass route events and mountain bike events by sponsoring the Wiggle Dragon Ride, Wiggle Etape Cyrmu and Wiggle Mountain Mayhem.
The Dragon Ride is a prestigious uk cycling sportive, voted the second best in the UK in 2012. Approximately 4,500 entrants are expected for the 2013 race. The Etape Cymru is the end of season closed road sportive, voted the best UK sportive of the year in 2012 by readers of Road Cycling UK.
Both the Dragon Ride and Etape Cymru are run by Human Race events.
The Wiggle Mountain Mayhem is the first ever 24 hour mountain bike endurance event in the UK. Wiggle Mountain Mayhem is run by Pacific Edge.
Festina also sponsors Rapha Condor JLT, the road racing team and produces yearly collections of cycling inspired watches, including the special edition ChronoBike for the Tour de France.
