EXCLUSIVE: TLKE takes on UK distribution of Kenneth Cole watches

The brand’s licence, part of Geneva Watch Group, started to be formally distributed by TLKE in February of this year.

UK watch distributor TLKE has announced that it’s secured the distribution rights for Kenneth Cole watches.

Kenneth Cole, whose global watch licence belongs to Geneva Watch Group, started to be formally distributed by TLKE in February of this year.

Teresa Timberlake, founder of TLKE, is impressed by what she’s seen so far, both on the product side and also in her dealings with Geneva Watch Group.

“I have been really impressed with Geneva Watch Group, with the investment in the marketing of its brands, and also the product quality, styling and commercial price points of Kenneth Cole watches.

“Geneva Watch Group also has an excellent partnership approach and is very supportive, which will ensure our mutual success as the traditional distributor model is difficult to make work in this challenging retail environment.”

Geneva Watch Group’s CEO Christian Frommherz is equally excited by the prospect of the new partnership.

“I totally believe we can grow a strong business with Kenneth Cole here in the UK, with the right partner in place,” Frommherz told WatchPro.

“We want to establish ourselves through TLKE with a number of key accounts, generating strong sell-through and making sure all collections in retail – online and offline – are constantly being updated.”

TLKE has already got Kenneth Cole watches listed on both QVC and Watch Shop, with more stockists expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
