EXCLUSIVE: Garmin watches go live in Beaverbrooks nationwide

Ollie Stone, head of UK & Ireland watch sales at Garmin, described how partnering with Beaverbrooks was a good match.

Garmin’s move into the watch market is taking another step today as it launches its new timepieces across Beaverbrooks stores nationwide.

Exclusively available online at Beaverbrooks since January, Garmin’s new MARQ collection, among others, will be available in-store from today at Beaverbrooks in the Trafford Centre, Milton Keynes and Merry Hill.

It will be launched in Manchester Arndale on Thursday 25 April.

Across the four stores, in an exclusive interview with WatchPro, Ollie Stone, head of UK & Ireland watch sales at Garmin, described how partnering with Beaverbrooks was a good match.

He commented: “We’re committed to making superior watch products that enhance the lives of our customers and it’s important our partners share this ethos.

“Beaverbrooks shares our passion for products, understands our emphasis on technology and aligns with our values of trust and integrity. We’re excited for this collaboration and what the future may hold.”

He continued: “They are a similar company to what we are. Their vision and strategies align with our own, so it felt right.”

Garmin launched its new MARQ collection last month, something its EMEA managing director Sean Biddlecombe, described as its first real move into the watch market.

WatchPro’s Alex Douglas attended the launch with Garmin in Barcelona and spoke with Mr Biddlecombe about the market move.
