David M Robinson is adding a monobrand Omega boutique within Liverpool ONE, the city’s vast shopping, residential, and leisure district.
The new store will join DMR’s existing flagship just down the road on South John Street, which offers Rolex, Omega, IWC, TAG Heuer and Tudor watches alongside a Rolex Accredited Watchmaker and an OMEGA Service Centre.
That flagship is close to the birthplace of David M Robinson as a jeweller in 1969, and Liverpool remains its spiritual home, according to managing director John Robinson, the company’s second generation owner.
Adding an Omega boutique is a statement of the company’s belief in the potential of Liverpool and the power of physical stores.
“After the challenges of the last year or so, this latest announcement reaffirms our commitment to bricks and mortar retail and to the Liverpool ONE development which continues to attract visitors from across the North West to this vibrant city. We are pleased to be working closely with our good friends at Omega on this exciting project,” Mr Robinson says.
The Omega boutique will be entirely owned and operated by DMR.
It will occupy 2,000 square feet of retail space when it opens later this year.
Liverpool ONE has grown in stature as a multi-use destination since it kicked off as a 42 acre city centre redevelopment project in 2008.
David M Robinson was one of its first luxury retailers, and the addition of an Omega boutique is further testament to Liverpool ONE’s growing stature.
