Etiqus, a British business that creates watches for golf enthusiasts, is adding a European Blue Sport Tour timepiece to its collection.
Britain may have turned its back on the blue flag with yellow starts of the European Union, but Etiqus hopes that enthusiasm for European golfers will inspire sales of its watches.
The special edition Sport Tour features the Etiqus unique dimple patterned watch face, inspired by the surface of a golf gall, in a distinctive European Blue with yellow inlay to the hour and minute hands, and in the 12 hour markers.
It has a bezel that helps golfers keep up with the recommended speed of an 18-hole round of golf by dividing time into 18 equal segments. Keep up with the time allocations and you’ll never be criticised for slow play.
Customers of the new Sport Tour in blue can chose from a solid, stainless steel bracelet, a black leather strap with blue stitch detail, a blue crocodile textured leather strap, or a durable black silicone strap.
The European Blue Sport Tour models sells for £249 to £299 from the Etiqus website.
