Signet has designed its new UK headquarters to enhance collaboration within its teams.

Ernest Jones and H. Samuel teams move into a new Signet Jewelers headquarters in Watford

Ernest Jones and H. Samuel parent group, Signet Jewelers, has moved into a state-of-the-art office space in the Croxley Park business park in Watford.

The group, which has over 300 watch and jewellery stores in the UK and Ireland, says the new premises will “nurture a culture of collaboration and agility the helps team members create consumer-inspired experiences and deliver on its Purpose of Inspiring Love”.

Signet has store support teams in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and in the new Watford HQ.

Croxley Park offers staff a range of facilities and amenities including landscaped parkland, a gym, fitness activities, a sports field, café, nursery, and bike hire. It also has its own colony of bees to help both protect the environment and produce honey that’s sold in the local café.

Campfire
“campfire” style meetings can take place in the open spaces of the office.

Signet Jewelers’ chief executive officer, Gina Drosos, travelled from the United States to officially open the headquarters.

“I’m so honoured to mark this special moment in Signet’s history, with the opening of our new UK and Ireland office. Ever since Harriet Samuel took over a little-known clockmaking business from her father-in-law in 1862, our company has been built on strong relationships with our customers, team members, partners and communities,” she said. “It is truly inspiring to see Harriet’s enduring principles celebrated in this ultra-modern 21st century space that harnesses the latest technology and design innovation as we continue to focus on delighting our customers and, building trusted, lifetime relationships – all driven by our Purpose of Inspiring Love.”

Reception

Neil Old, Signet UK and Ireland managing director, added: “This is a very exciting time for Signet. Croxley Park has given us the opportunity to bring everyone together on one floor and design an office space that gives us a long-term base to both meet the needs of our growing business and embrace flexible, modern ways of working. We’ve reimagined our workspace and redefined how we work together, to create a flexible ‘we space’ that nurtures team collaboration and inspiration.”
