Epping Forest Horology Centre seeks expert watchmaker to join its training team

Paid position would suit a retired watchmaker willing to pass on experience to a new generation.

Epping Forest Horology Centre (EFHC), a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dedicated to the preservation and development of horological skills, is looking for an experienced watchmaker to join its team of expert trainers.

The paid role would suit a retired watchmaker who wants to pass on a lifetime’s love of horology to a new generation of watchmakers.

EFHC offers classes on all types of clocks and watches; welcoming amateurs and professionals into its friendly well equipped workshop.

The organisation began in 2005 and how has over 100 members who meet regularly to socialise and update their watchmaking skills.

Courses, which start for as little as £3.50 per hour, can take students from complete novices through to passing exams at the British Horological Institute.
