Edifice signs two-year deal with Toro Rosso F1 team

Casio Edifice has signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Scuderio Toro Rosso Formula One team after its contract with Red Bull Racing expired last year.

The Red Bull-owned team is fronted by 18-year-old Max Verstappen and 21-year-old Carlos Sainz Jr.

Casio Edifice states that Scuderio Toro Rosso’s use of innovative technology and support for young talent make it a perfect global partner for the connected watch brand.

Hiroshi Nakamura, Casio Electronics executive vice president, said: “This relationship with Scuderio Toro Rosso is something we are very passionate about. As a brand and as a team, they mirror the spirit of progression and youthful energy of Edifice, and we hope to grow and succeed together.”

As part of the agreement the Edifice logo will appear on Verstappen and Sainz’s racing suits, on team kit and on the cars’ noses.

Franz Tost, Scuderio Toro Rosso’s team principale, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with a brand like Edifice that dynamically captures the spirit of technical innovation in the pursuit of advancements. We look forward to working with Edifice.”
