Eberhard & Co. reveals new “1887” watch

The new timepiece pays tribute to the founding date of Maison and will feature the EB140 Calibre.

Eberhard and Co. has unveiled the new “1887” timepiece that will feature the EB140 calibre.

The new watch, named for Maison’s founding date, will include the manual winding movement, which includes a focus on details including the bridge for the balance wheel and large bridge for the gear trains which, the company says, will be distinguished by a traditional ‘circular wave’ pattern finish.

The new timepiece comes with a 41.80mm diameter steel case with a dial available in two versions, gold and rhodium- plated numbers and indices.

The straps have also been a focus for the company in the design of the “1887” with a collaboration between Ulturale tie-makers, creating a Jacquard silk strap that also comes in two versions in combination with the dials.
