Ebay enlists watch-loving social media stars to talk about their passion

This week is Watch from Home Week, according to eBay, a time to relax and talk about the joys of haute horlogerie with some of the world’s best-known enthusiasts and social media stars.

WatchAnish (1.7 million Instagram followers), Matt Hranek (63,000 followers), Kat and Ketlan at Ten and Two Media (7,500 followers) and Brian Sacawa, aka He Spoke Style (208,000 followers), are talking about a cross section of topics of interest to watch enthusiasts.

There are sessions on chronographs, dive watches and dress watches that are produced into Youtube videos.

The idea for eBay is that the coverage will go viral to the influencers legion of fans.

A paid post from WatchAnish yesterday, which has already been viewed 356,417 times says: “Excited to announce I’m working with @eBay this year.
